Serotonin can effect mood, behavior, appetite, digestion, sleep, memory, and sexual desires. It is believed that many who lack serotonin levels in their body may suffer from depression and anxiety. Serotonin is an extremely important chemical neurotransmitter in our human body. Serotonin is manufactured in the brain, intestines, and central nervous system.
