Many of us know the benefits of using essential oils in our daily lives. These oils are basically the life-force of the plant, including all the medicinal properties of that particular part of the plant. When using essential oils properly and respectfully, they can easily become very powerful and healing for our whole body wellness. 

Aromatherapy, Emotional Balancing, Relaxation, and Calming Stretching Body and Breathing Exercises all easily work hand-in-hand with using essential oil plant healing. Pure plant essential oils help bring the mind into a peaceful space of focus, relaxation, concentration, and an overall peaceful healthy body.

To begin, our sense of smell is one of the most impressive of all our senses. Its connected to a network of nerves within our brain called the limbic system. The receptors in our nose are connected to this limbic system, which is why our sense of smell triggers feelings, emotions, and memories. 

Since all plant essential oils smell so pleasant they are known for helping to trigger the brain to release neurotransmitters such as dopamine and serotonin.

Serotonin can effect mood, behavior, appetite, digestion, sleep, memory, and sexual desires. It is believed that many who lack serotonin levels in their body may suffer from depression and anxiety. Serotonin is an extremely important chemical neurotransmitter in our human body. Serotonin is manufactured in the brain, intestines, and central nervous system. I know when I feel nervous for example, the feeling appears right into my mid belly area. So I actually will dab an essential oil drop right in my belly button (navel) area. I will also add a drop of essential oil into my palms, cuff my hands together, hold my hands close to my face cuffing them around my nose, then I inhale deeply. This helps penetrate the scent of the plant healing essential oil much faster into the lungs. 

When choosing your scent of plant essential oils there are different categories. The more energizing oils are the citrus based, soothing oils are the florals, and grounding oils have more earthy scents. God truly gave us a beautiful wide spectrum of plant healing to choose from.

These healthy body exercises in moderation and proper use, can greatly help each one of us in countless ways.

I use different exercise methods to keep my body feeling strong, energized, relaxed, and always feeling good! Using essential oils during exercise can greatly help support anyone suffering with anxiety or depression, body pains, and so forth.

Note for Christians:

There really is no such thing as Christian Yoga, simply because Yoga is not a biblical practice, its rooted from and in Hinduism. Many of my clients that are Christians ask if they can do Yoga. Here is my helpful answer: I can only show you what the bible actually says. God Almighty Yahweh says not to weave in the ways of the world (this world system). The Bible teaches to meditate on Gods word and in prayer, this gives both a clear mind and thought process; but the Hindu practices are no part of this. I believe in practicing healthy breathing exercises and mental clarity using simple relaxing meditation, exercising the body in stretches that promote overall physical well being. All these things do not need to be labeled as Yoga. There are many healthy living lifestyle steps that anyone can do in their own home for the overall well-being of their own body. We want to be ‘balanced in all things good’. There is no need to ever empty ourselves because God fulfills our minds, hearts, and body daily with His Holy Spirit.
