My Shake REVIEw:

Protein shakes aren't just for body builders anymore, and there's good reason for that. Protein shakes can make an excellent quick breakfast, a convenient pre-work out energy drink, a replenishing post-work out recovery drink, or a healthy snack. This is my daily morning lifestyle shake and my go-to yoga shake. I also share with you below many recipes I have used this protein mix in. 

Many people may believe that whey protein is best when it comes to shakes. Whey is actually a cheep form of milk proteins from cows. I teach and believe in clean plant based protein for a pure healthy body and that is just what these contain. 

Each serving provides a boost of clean plant based calcium, Vitamin D, Vitamin C, and Vitamins B6 and B12 among many other nutritional benefits. This helps provide us with well-rounded nutrition from every serving keeping us feeling good!

VEGAN Plant PROTEIN POWDER FACTS:

13 grams of high-quality plant based protein from Non-Gmo: Healthy Water-Washed Whole Soy, Chickpeas, Peas, and Rice Protein.

FIBER: 

Most of our diets are lacking in fiber. One serving adds a significant fiber boost to your daily diet. 8 Grams of Soluble & Insoluble Fiber; from soy, rice bran, pectin, and apples. 

WHOLE-FOOD BASED:

Complete also provides whole food nutrition in every scoop. With nutrient packed pumpkin, pomegranate, yucca, and mushroom powders; super-green spirulina; and sprouted broccoli, alfalfa, radish; and ancient grains like quinoa, millet, and amaranth. 

MICRO NUTRITION:

SUGAR:

The natural sugar in the shakes is as much as 1 apple. Apples do contain sugar, but much of the sugar found in apples is fructose. When fructose is consumed in a whole fruit, it has very little effect on blood sugar levels.

Soybeans are legumes, a plant of the pea family that originated in East Asia. Whole soybeans contain a range of important nutrients. They contain healthy body needed manganese, selenium, copper, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, calcium, vitamin B6, folate, riboflavin (B2), thiamin (B1), and Vitamin K. 

Processing soy at a high temperature can denature some of the proteins and reduce their quality. Also most Soy in the US is GMO, which is not good for us. The Soy in these shakes is Non-Gmo and water-washed, a low process used that helps keep all the soys original plant health benefits alive!

Protein Shakes On-The-Go:

For those that live life spontaneously like I do, I get their Complete shake mix in convenient single-serve packets. I toss them in my bag when I am on-the-go. I just add a protein packet right into whatever smoothie or fresh juice I am drinking. I never miss my plant based protein. I use the naturally vanilla blend because it goes with everything. I also kiss my shakes with 1 drop of internal grade essential oil, depending on what certain ingestible EO I am using for the day for my own health needs.

HOW TO MAKE A COMPLETE SHAKE:

Shake or blend 1 packet or 1 scoop of the Complete Shake mix with: organic almond milk, coconut milk, fresh pressed juice, or your favorite organic beverage.

For added nutrition add in fresh or frozen organic fruit or veggies of your choice. I like to add in things like chia seeds, goji berries, coconut flakes, and nuts to my morning shakes.

NO BAKE Vegan COMPLETE PROTEIN COCOA BALLS:

Ingredients:
1 cup Old Fashion Oats
⅓ cup The Vanilla Complete
½ tsp. Flaxseed
⅓ cup Natural Peanut Butter
⅓ cup Organic Unsweetened Applesauce
2 Tbsp. Raw Local Honey
2 Tbsp. Dark Chocolate Cocoa Chips
⅓ cup of Raisins (optional)
⅓ cup slivered Almonds (optional)

add 1 drop of doTerra Cinnamon Essential Oil

Instructions:
In a medium bowl mix together all ingredients. Roll into small to medium size balls. Place on wax paper and refrigerate 2-3 hours to harden.
